研究概要

周氷河現象は古環境復元等において,気候指標として利用される.本研究では,世界各地での周氷河地形変動の調査・観測データとモデル実験結果を総合し,物理的根拠に基づく高精度の気候指標を策定することを試みた.周氷河現象が「動く時期や速度」と「動く環境・地盤要因」のデータに基づいて,永久凍土の地温・水文条件,岩石氷河の変動速度と地温の関係,ソリフラクションの発生境界条件,氷楔破壊の発生温度等について分析し,凍土と各周氷河現象の分布条件をモデル化した.
