研究概要

血液白血球DNAのメチル化の程度を定量的に測定し、がんのバイオマーカーになりうるか、さらに生活習慣がメチル化にどう影響するかを解析した。その結果、血液白血球DNAにおけるIGF2遺伝子のメチル化程度は、がんのリスクと予後のバイオマーカーになりうる可能性が高いことが示唆された。また、IGF2遺伝子とTUSC3遺伝子のメチル化程度は、年齢や喫煙などで変化することがわかった。
