研究概要

施灸に対する脳反応について客観的指標の樹立を試みた。ラットに施灸し、マイクロダイアリシスによる神経伝達物質測定、脳波等の電気生理学的測定、DNAマイクロアレイによる遺伝子発現解析を行った。全ての反応は極めて弱く、測定には高S/N比を得る工夫が必要であった。ドパミン分泌・関係する脳内部位の遺伝子発現変化・体温上昇・海馬脳波θ波の変化が示され、施灸が情動・記憶など重要な脳機能に影響し、生活習慣病に効果を示す可能性が推定された。
