研究概要

資金調達が困難な中小企業に注目し、その資金調達の実態を明らかにするために、企業レベルのデータを用いた実証分析を進めた。銀行から借入する際に不動産などの担保が果たす役割、信用保証などの公的な関与の意義、90年代後半から2000年代初頭にかけて不良債権問題が深刻だった時期の企業金融の効率性の検証などを行い、英文学術誌に論文3本を掲載し、編著の書籍を刊行した。書籍は、中小企業研究奨励賞本賞を2009年2月に受賞した。
