研究概要

加法的問題に付随する例外集合の密度評価を与えるWooleyの方法を応用する際,DavenportのDiminishing range methodが効力を発揮する場面があることを発見した.この方法は,様々な加法的問題に適用することができ,とくに3乗数及び4乗数のWaring問題に付随する例外集合に対する新しい密度評価等の成果を得た.また,素数か,または2つの素数の積であるような8個の自然数の3乗の和として,充分大きい全ての自然数を表せることを示した.
