研究概要

Vibrioのゲノムに書き込まれた数多くの機能未知の膜タンパク質の役割はなんであるのか。Vibrioの細胞内pH調節を行っているK+/H+antiporterをコードする遺伝子はなんなのか。Vibrioの細胞内Ca^<2+>濃度は低く保たれているのか。低く保たれているならば、その仕組みはなんなのか。VibrioのPhaシステム、NhaP2、Fku、Trk、Ktrはどのような機能と役割をVibrioの中で担っているのか。このような疑問に対して答えを探し、その一端が明らかとなった。
