若手研究(B)
本研究の目的は、東南アジアにおける様々な事例から、資源を巡る対立と協調に関連する政治的なプロセスを明らかにすることである。現地調査や事例サーベイなどを行った結果、(1)国家主体の「従来型」資源管理制度が、「住民参加型」や「市場志向・グローバル型」の制度を取り込む形で変容しつつあること、(2)このような変容が、様々な経路を辿りつつも、全体としては上からの論理を強化しつつあること、(3)インフォーマルな制度的基盤を有する「強くしなやかな社会」が、上からの論理に対抗したり、制度をうまく使いこなしたりする可能性を持つことが明らかになった。
