研究概要

単針類の1属について分子系統解析とタイプ標本を含む証拠標本の形態観察に基づいた分類学的再検討を行った。これに加え紐形動物の種と属の分類目録の作成、深海遊泳性紐形動物の新種記載を行い、国内未記録であった日本産異紐虫類についてはタイプ標本と比較して再記載した。さらに古紐虫類の一群について頭部血管系の比較形態学的研究を行い、これまでに知られていなかった分類形質を発見した。
