| 研究開始時の研究の概要 |
I will be using the data on minority language translation to advance translation theory and will use language learning theory to make the position of children’s literature in language learning more understandable for learning communities. The research combines theory and investigation of publishing.

| 研究成果の概要 |
児童文学を少数言語に翻訳する問題に翻訳理論を適用することに取り組んできました。少数言語を話す人は、支配的な言語から自分の言語に翻訳することに消極的になることがあります。しかし、翻訳は児童文学を素早く作り上げる最も効果的な方法の 1 つです。私の研究は、利用可能なオプションを明確にし、これらのオプションを理論に関連付けることを目指してきました。この研究では、国際ジャーナルに主要な研究論文を発表し、現在別の論文を査読中です。また、翻訳理論に関する編集本の章を執筆し、現在は別の本に収録する 2 つの章を執筆中です。さらに、チリで開催された国際児童文学会で発表しました。

| 研究成果の学術的意義や社会的意義 |
My research is designed to encourage the creation of children's literature in minority languages. Many minority languages have very little children's literature. This can contribute to the decline of those languages. My research aims to deal with this problem.
