| 研究開始時の研究の概要 |
The purpose of this research project is to discover the changes that one-year study abroad bring about on language learners' working vocabulary and patterns of spoken communication.

| 研究実績の概要 |
Project data collection and analysis continued in the 2023 academic year. The Principal Investigator co-authored one papers currently under review at a major international journal. The Co-investigators also maintained research output, including publication of a book on English as an Additional Language. This edited volume investigates the multifaceted elements that shape EAL pedagogy and research in a variety of settings and research areas, including linguistic ability influences on subject-specific skills, integrating learners’ home languages into classroom environments, and the importance of supporting EAL teachers in the classroom.
