| 研究開始時の研究の概要 |
Over the last 6 years, we have been actively developing an online system that automatically scores learners's speech and provides personalized feedback. It is a low-cost solution for Japanese students to practice their English speaking skills for entrance exams and proficiency tests.

| 研究成果の概要 |
オープンソースの自動スピーキング評価プラットフォームの開発に成功した。このシステムでは、スピーキング課題の採点を自動化することにより、評価や個別のフィードバックを学習者に対してすぐに提供することが可能になった。また、教員が自由に独自のスピーキング課題を作成し追加できる機能も付け加えられた。学習者がこのシステムを使用した際に得られたデータから、学習者のスピーキング能力が全体的に向上したことが示された。さらに、スピーキング課題において学習者のパフォーマンスを評価する際に、人間による評価スコアとコンピュータによる評価スコアの間に正の相関関係が見られた。

| 研究成果の学術的意義や社会的意義 |
Through the development of an open-source system with automated scoring of speech, language learners in large classes had more opportunities for extensive speaking practice. In addition, the system proved beneficial for speaking practice for standardized language learning tests.
