研究概要

本研究では、尋常性天疱瘡抗原・デスモグレイン3（Dsg3）に対する自己反応性T細胞を用いて、疾患における役割とその免疫寛容機構を解析した。Dsg3反応性T細胞は、天疱瘡を誘導するのみならず、分化するThサブタイプによりInterface Dermatitis (難治性皮膚炎の一種)や、乾癬様皮疹も誘導することを明らかにし、難治性皮膚炎病態解明に貢献した。また、Dsg3反応性T細胞は、胸腺において通常除去される(中枢性寛容)が、胸腺において除去されないような状況においては、末梢において除去される(末梢性寛容)ことを明らかにした。将来、末梢性寛容の仕組みを利用した治療法の開発が期待される。
