研究成果の概要

表面・界面における化学反応を、 (1) 局所励起ダイナミクス、(2) 反応量子ダイナミクス、(3) 緩和過程ダイナミクス、の観点から研究する分子論とシミュレーション手法を開発し、光電エネルギー変換過程に応用した。
有機薄膜太陽電池の異種界面での電子ダイナミクスの解析から、界面配向の最適化により電荷移動の高効率が可能であることを明らかにした。また色素増感太陽電池について、色素と酸化チタン表面との電子移動反応を振電相互作用に着目した解析を行い、電子移動の特性を予測することに成功した。酸化チタン表面の光誘起エキシトンについて、電子と正孔の分布を解析し、光触媒作用との関連を明らかにした。
