研究概要

社会的知性を実現する脳機能の解明という目標に向け、本研究を推進した。諸処の成果を挙げたが、ここでは中心的成果を述べる。非社会的意思決定と社会的意思決定の関連の解明を目指したヒトfMRI実験で、自らの報酬を予測する条件と、他者の報酬予測を予測する条件を比較し、モデルベースド解析手法を用い、価値意思決定の情報処理過程の主変数と脳活動の対応を解明した。自らの報酬予測の機能を基に、他者の報酬予測のシミュレーションを行う部位として腹内側前頭葉が中心的役割を示すことが分かった。
