研究概要

(1)アジアの小児に発症した肝癌組織の86%にHBV DNAが検出された。HBV のシークエンス解析から、塩基の部分欠損がpre-S2領域での欠損が全例でnt 4～57の位置に出現していた。小児肝癌発生要因としてHBV感染が重要であり、またこの引き金としてpre-S2のホットスポット変異が深く関わっていることが強く推察された。
(2)台湾アボリジンから分離されたHBVが従来のHBV分類に属さず、新型のサブゲノタイプHBV/D10と命名した。
(3)中国東北部黒龍省近辺に住む中国人に発生した胆管癌症例66例を対象にして、HBV感染との関連を調査した。血中HBsAg陽性例は、胆管癌66例中18例(27.3%)であった。さらにPCR法にて癌組織内HBV DNAを検索した結果、肝内胆管癌の8例(34.8%)で陽性を示したのに対し、肝外胆管癌群と非肝疾患群の肝組織では全例陰性であった。肝内胆管癌の発生要因の一つとして、HBVの関与が示唆された。
