研究概要

負の補助刺激受容体CTLA-4のイメージング解析を行うことよって、CTLA-4がクラスターを形成し、免疫シナプスに中心にある正の補助刺激受容体CD28とその下流のキナーゼと足場蛋白から構成される活性中心を破壊、T細胞活性化シグナルを遮断する分子機構を明らかにした。T細胞活性化を担うT細胞受容体-CD28マイクロクラスターに対し、活性化を弱める抑制性マイクロクラスターの存在が示された。
