研究概要

胆汁うっ滞性肝疾患の多くはその病因が不明であり原発性肝硬変(PBC)などでは自己免疫の関与が想定されている。近年他の領域の自己免疫疾患でレトロウイルス感染症の病態形成への関与が報告されたため、本研究では動物モデルやヒト検体での同ウイルスの探索を行い、さらにより高感度の検出系である次世代シーケンサーを用いた基礎検討を行い、一部の動物モデルの肝臓より内因性レトロウイルスの遺伝子産物を検出した。
