研究概要

本研究ではアクチン結合分子Girdinが統合失調症の脆弱性因子であるDISC1分子と結合し、新生仔期と成体期における海馬歯状回の神経新生、特に神経芽細胞の移動と位置決定を制御していることを明らかにした。Girdinは脳室下帯で新生した神経芽細胞の嗅球への移動にも重要であることも示した。さらにGirdinのファミリー分子であるGipieおよびDapleの機能についても解析を行い、それぞれ小胞体ストレス応答およびWntシグナル伝達機構を制御することを明らかにした。
