研究概要

式で定義された図形(代数多様体)には,「高さ」と呼ばれるその点や部分多様体の算術的複雑さを測る関数がある.高さを調べることにより,代数多様体の複雑度を記述することができる.また,代数多様体における小さな点の分布の様子と代数多様体の幾何的性質との関連の考察もできる.本研究では,幾つかの対象に対し高さや関連する事項を調べることによって,高さ自身やそれを用いた算術的性質の研究に大きな成果を得た.
