研究概要

本研究の目的は膀胱発がんにおけるmicroRNA発現およびその役割を明らかにすることであり、膀胱発がんにおいてmiR-125aおよびmiR-125bがtumor-suppressor miRNAとして働き、その発現量の低下は、ラット膀胱発がん過程の早期から関与することが明らかとなった。さらに、miR-125bの発現変動関連因子として21種類の蛋白を同定することに成功した。本研究で得られた成果は、膀胱がんの発がん機序の解明、さらには予防・治療にも寄与すると期待される。
