研究概要

Helicobacter pylori感染においてヘルパーT細胞が胃炎発症に必要であるが、その役割については不明であった。本研究により、Th17細胞の産生するIL-17Aは、胃粘膜固有層への好中球浸潤には必須ではなく、Th17細胞よりもTh1細胞の存在によって浸潤する好中球が、胃炎の重篤化に重要であることが明らかとなった。
