研究概要

本研究の主目的は、膀胱癌の生物学的悪性度とp63発現消失との因果関係およびその背景にある分子生物学的機序の解明である。p63強発現膀胱癌細胞のp63蛋白のノックダウン系およびp63発現消失膀胱癌細胞のp63 DNA強制発現系の実験により、p63発現消失が浸潤能亢進の原因であることが判明した。その分子生物学的機序が、p63発現消失によるN-カドヘリン発現亢進→N-カドヘリンへのアダプター蛋白Shcの動員および結合→Erk経路の活性化→細胞遊走能・浸潤能の亢進であることを解明した。
