研究開始時の研究の概要 |
Amazon has the highest freshwater fish fauna in the world, and the main goal of this research proposal is to investigate how Amazon water types drive the fish evolution and diversification through behavioral and genetic experiments.

研究実績の概要 |
In this fiscal year, I travelled abroad and conducted fieldwork. The data collected in the field work was incorporated into the manuscripts. I also had research meetings and discussion about the project with my collaborators in Brazil. I also had research meetings in Japan, in which I discussed about the analysis and results of the project with some collaborators. I have completed all analysis and wrote down two manuscripts. They were submitted to two different scientific journals and are now under revision. Another manuscrit is being prepared and will be submitted to another scientific journal within this month (May 2023). These three manuscripts will be incorporated into my PH.D thesis, which is being prepared at this moment.
