研究開始時の研究の概要 |
I will theoretically pursue different aspects of spin waves useful for quantum information. I will invoke the unique dispersion of spin waves and the inherent nonlinearities for proposals to unearth resources such as entanglement, and design hybrid systems for implementation of those resources for quantum information processing and communication.

研究実績の概要 |
The review process for the experimental paper on persistent coherence of magnetization dynamics due to nonlinear interaction, with theory provided by the PI was completed, and the paper was published in Nature Materials. The PI conducted a purely theoretical work on the same topic, and showed that the same mechanism applies to quantum coherence and also delineated the role of magnon spectrum on this phenomenon. The experimental-theoretical paper on the role of spin wave interactions on stochastic switching of magnetization went under review, and the PI addressed the major comments concerning theories. The paper is still under review. The PI also started preparation of a purely theoretical paper on this topic, which is to be submitted shortly.

理由
The major collaboration works that started 2-3 years ago on magnon nonlinearity in the context and towards quantum information, were concluded and close to conclusion by being published in high impact journals. Progress of purely theoretical projects with very new point of view were rather impacted by finalizing the ongoing projects on the theoretical-experimental collaboration works.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
The theoretical paper on the effect of nonlinear magnon interactions of the stochastic magnetization switching will be submitted to phys. rev. series.
The PI started a collaboration with National University of Singapore, for theoretically explaining the experimental demonstration of deterministic switching of out-of-plane magnetization due to the torque exerted by magnons transported through antiferromagnets, induced by a current induced out-of-plane polarization. The PI plans to prepare a purely theoretical work on nonlinear magnon toques.
The PI will push forward the theoretical work on quantum measurement of magnon fluctuations in spintronics heterostructures.
