強誘電体セラミックスを利用した環境の温度変動からのエナジーハーベスト

研究概要

分散型のセンサーシステムにおいて、その電源としてエナジーハーベストが注目されている。焦電効果を利用して環境の温度変動から電気エネルギーを取り出すエナジーハーベストについて検討した。焦電効果としては通常の線型の焦電効果に加えて、電界印加によるエリクソン熱力学サイクルを利用する非線型焦電効果も検討した。線型焦電効果では、キュリー点145℃のPZT系セラミックスで、温度変化5K/sにおいて、発生電力と発生電力面密度で5.2μWand1.66μW/cm2の発電特性を有することを見出した。また、Ba(Zr,Ti)O3セラミックスで室温付近で比較的大きな分極の温度変化を示すことを観測し、それにより非線型焦電特性を示すことを見出した。温度範囲30-125-C、電界印加0-20kV/cmの条件で58J/L/cycleのエネルギー回収を確認した。PLZTでは、同じ条件で、54.8J/L/cycleのエネルギー回収を確認した。
