研究概要

ステロイド環を有する抗菌剤であるCeragenin(CSA)は歯科材料に被覆および混合することで、それらの表層に細菌がバイオフィルムを形成することと被覆・混合したCSAが培養液中に浸出することで液中の細菌の増殖をも著明に抑制した。また、低濃度のCSAとブドウ球菌を混合して培養を繰り返しても耐性菌が誘導されなかった。さらに、がん細胞に対してアポト－シスを誘導することで抗腫瘍作用を示した。
