研究概要

明らかな原因がないにも関わらず、 胃痛や胃もたれなどの上腹部症状が出現する functional dyspepsia (機能性胃症)における症状出現の機序について、十二指腸の酸度および不安、抑うつ状態との関連性の観点から検討を行った。その結果、胃内に酸を注入した際の十二指腸 pH の変動と胃痛、胃もたれ症状の出現との間には関連性があることが明らかとなり、その成果は海外英文誌に掲載された。
