研究概要

放射線帯領域でのコヒーレントなホイッスラーモード波動と高エネルギー電子との非線形相互作用について、超並列計算に対応したシミュレーションコードを開発して計算機実験を行い、相互作用素過程を定量的に究明した。コーラス放射の発生過程における波動振幅の閾値や、背景磁場非一様性の影響、コーラス放射の波動スペクトルへの影響を定量的に明らかとした。さらに、放射線帯の実環境計算におけるコーラス放射の再現に成功した。
