研究概要

本研究では、骨髄間葉系幹細胞(MSC : mesenchymal stem cell)に注目し、同細胞による新規血管新生治療の開発を目的とした。従来法で採取したMSCおよびCD271抗体で純化したMSCともに向血管新生性を示した。下肢虚血モデルにエリスロポエチン+MSCを投与すると、MSC単独投与と比べて、有意な血流回復が認められた。MSCは血管新生治療の発展にとって有用な細胞源であり、エリスロポエチンがMSC機能を活性化させることが明らかとなった。
