糖尿病患者に対する血糖管理強化療法が冠動脈不安定粥腫の安定化に与える効果の検討

研究概要

光干渉断層画像(OCT)を用いて不安定冠動脈粥腫の分布に糖尿病患者と非糖尿病患者間で相違があるのかを検討。さらに、血糖コントロールが冠動脈不安定粥腫の安定化に与える影響について調査したところ、厳格な血糖コントロールを行っても冠動脈プラークの体積、繊維性被膜厚、脂質塊のサイズに変化は認めなかった。しかし、本研究で冠動脈不安定粥腫は生体内で検出可能であり、それらは糖尿病患者において責任病変以外にも多数分布していることが証明された。
