| 研究開始時の研究の概要 |
Adolescent girls are the highly vulnerable group to develop anemia in rural Bangladesh. This research project is an international collaborative approach for sharing our achievements and experiences to reduce anemia among adolescent girls in the rural area of Bangladesh. We aim to conduct initially an epidemiological study to understand the anemia prevalence with its influencing factors and afterward an interventional study to improve knowledge, attitude, and practice among adolescent girls to reduce anemia in rural Bangladesh.

| 研究実績の概要 |
According to the research plan, we have completed an epidemiological study to explore the prevalence of anemia, including influencing factors in 2022. Afterward, we conducted an eHealth intervention study to improve knowledge, attitudes, and practices to reduce anemia among school going girls in rural Bangladesh. Currently, our field activities have been successfully concluded. Meanwhile, we have published two research protocol papers in international journals and another paper on anemia prevalence in progress to an international journal for publication. We are now drafting another research paper on the eHealth intervention for further publication.

理由
During the COVID-19 pandemic, conducting field activities was initially challenging. Afterward, as the stress and burden of the COVID-19 pandemic reduced in the study field, it was comfortable to implement study activities according to the study plan. By this time, it is well explained and communicated with the related officials, professionals, communities, and research team members to have their cooperation in supporting study activities. We were also able to explain to the study participants the importance of this research, and they became motivated. Altogether, we have been implementing this research activity smoothly. Now, we are in the process of creating a couple of publications and sharing study findings in international conferences.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
The next step of our ongoing research activities involves the composition of two additional manuscripts in line with our research plan. We are in the process of finalizing the manuscript for the eHealth intervention study and will soon submit it to an international journal. Following this, we will proceed with the data analysis for another research project titled "Impact of mHealth education on menstrual knowledge and hygiene practices among school-going adolescent girls in rural Bangladesh." Once the analysis is complete, we will commence the manuscript writing for this research. Subsequently, we will prepare our research findings for subsequent submissions to international journals and conferences after the completion of these activities.
