| 研究開始時の研究の概要 |
This study compares citizens’ understanding of earthquake disaster risks and preparedness in Japan and Italy. Data generation is based interviews, surveys, as well as secondary data from research institutes, universities, and public offices in Italy and Japan. To better understand the cultural aspects of disasters, libraries and museums in both countries will also be consulted. Results will be disseminated through two international conferences, two publications (intl. journal), and meetings with national representatives in Italy and Japan.
