研究開始時の研究の概要 |
After analysis of the porous properties and thermal conductivity, some promising composites will be selected. Then the adsorption isotherms and kinetics measurement will be conducted at different temperatures and pressures. The obtained data will be used to analysis the thermodynamic performance.

研究実績の概要 |
We have successfully developed several promising composites using platelet-type hexagonal boron nitrides (h-BN) and activated carbon (MSC-30). The composite adsorbents exhibit notably high thermal conductivity compared to MSC-30. It is found that the improvement of thermal conductivity compared to that of MSC-30 ranges from 2.6 to about 6.2 times. The highest improvement of thermal conductivity is observed 6.2 times for Composite 1 (50 wt.% MSC-30 + 40 wt.% h-BN + 10 wt.% PVA). We have measured the CO2 adsorption performance onto developed composites.

理由
Our research is progressing smoothly according to the time schedule of our proposed research proposal because all research equipment works properly. We got satisfactory results in every step of the work, and my host professor continuously monitored the progress of the research.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
We have now the plan to correlate CO2 adsorption data with different isotherm models and compiling all research results for publication in a reputed journal.
