研究実績の概要 |
This study aims to improve radiant ceiling panel systems (a new HVAC system) to widen the radiant system's usage, reduce the energy consumption of building energy systems, and target to achieve a zero-emission society. Over the last two years, significant progress has been made in the research. Two papers have been accepted by high-impact factor journals: Journal of Building Engineering and Energies. The results have also been published worldwide and presented in several local and international conferences. As a result, the novel radiant ceiling panel system with curved and segmented strcutre was optimized in terms of both design and operation by using several advanced technologies (CFD, sensitivity analysis, grey-box modeling). The results also show that the system can maintain comfortable indoor air conditions with less energy consumption after optimization.
