研究開始時の研究の概要 |
With rapidly advancing digital technologies, cyber-physical systems (CPS) have emerged as the dominating paradigm for today’s large-scale complex engineering systems. This research aims to develop a comprehensive design framework that provides systematic solutions to core control problems in CPS.

研究実績の概要 |
In this fiscal year, the following new results have been achieved. 1. Safe control: several new methods have been developed, including optimal secret protection, multi-agent collision-free nonblocking control, safe reinforcement learning, and signal spatial-temporal logic based method. 2. Privacy aware control: differential privacy based analysis and design have been developed for quantized networked control systems and for protecting system interconnection information. 3. Resource efficient control: new event-triggered and self-triggered control methods have been developed. In addition, surveys on compressed sensing are conducted.

理由
In this year, we have achieved 7 journal paper publications, 10 conference proceeding papers, and 2 survey papers. Moreover, for our international collaborations, we have visited University of Toronto (the main collaborating institution) and University of Groningen, and have directly conduct research activities with our hosts.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
We are going to further develop new methods for safe control (Co-PI Hashimoto and PI), for privacy-aware control (Co-PI Pruekprasert, Co-PI Kawano, and PI), and resource efficient control (Co-PI Hashimoto and Co-PI Nagahara). These research activities will be done in direct collaborations with our oversea hosts, by visiting them in person as well as online. We have already scheduled several visits to our host institutions in 2024 and 2025.
