研究成果の概要

物理学者の Alday-Gaiotto-立川によって、ゲージ理論とW代数との対応が発見された。これを、数学的に厳密な立場から「インスタントンの枠付きモジュライ空間の上で、同変コホモロジー群を考えると、それがW 代数の表現の構造を持ち、様々なコホモロジー類が、W 代数の頂点作用素などを用いて書き下される」と理解し、これに関連した研究を行った。特に、Braverman-Finkelbergとの共同研究で、ADE型のインスタントンの枠付きモジュライ空間のUhlenbeck部分コンパクト化の同変交叉コホモロジーに期待される表現の構造を定義した。
