研究成果の概要

ウェブのリンク構造は通常ウェブグラフとして表現される．本研究は，リンク構造が動的に変化し成長を続ける様子に着目し時系列データとしてとらえ，リンク構造の単にある瞬間のスナップショットを表すウェブグラフに代わり，ウェブ時系列データを表現するモデルを構築すること，およびそのモデルをもとにウェブに潜在する知識を時系列データから発見するためのデータ・マイニングアルゴリズムの設計や開発を行った．またこのようなモデルや手法の他分野の問題への適用可能性を検証した．
