本研究の目的は、船舶の操縦者である操船者に対して3種類の生理指標（心拍変動、顔面皮膚温、唾液アミラーゼ活性）を用いた定量的な技能評価を行い、共通技能および個人技能を客観的に検討し、チーム作業評価へと展開することである。結果として、シミュレータ及び実船実験を行い、3種類の生理指標は有効であり、心拍変動および唾液は即応性の応答、鼻部皮膚温は即応性及び変化傾向が確認できる指標であることが明らかとなった。ただし、唾液については負担レスな採取方法を検討することが課題として残された。
