研究概要

本研究では、第１に1870-1900期の英領シンガポールにおける歴史GDP推計を行い、中でも主要構成支出である民間最終消費支出の推計を行なった。第２に各種推計結果を用いて英領シンガポールにおけるステープル理論の実証分析を行った。実証分析を通じて、シンガポールからの一次産品の輸出は経済変動とともに、経済成長にとっても源泉であることを実証的に証明した。
