研究概要

プロレニン受容体(PRR)の骨代謝における役割を解明するため、骨組織特異的PRR欠損マウスを解析したところ、著しい骨量の低下、骨形成の抑制、さらに、骨芽細胞マーカーの発現の減少を認めた。骨代謝におけるレニン・アンジオテンシン系の重要性が示唆された。
