研究概要

S. anginosusと口腔の扁平上皮癌との関連が示唆されている．また，AIDの上皮細胞における異所性発現が細胞の癌化に関与するとの報告がある．本研究では，S. anginosus感染と口腔癌発症機序の解明を目的として，癌組織への本菌の感染とAID発現誘導の関連を検討した．その結果，口腔癌組織においてS. anginosus感染と AID発現に関連性が認められ，また，本菌由来抗原により培養細胞にNF-kB の活性化が認められた．以上の成績より， S. anginosus感染は口腔の上皮細胞にNF-kBを介してAID発現を誘導し，口腔扁平上皮癌発症に関連している可能性が強く示唆された．
