研究概要

有害藻シャトネラの赤潮動態予察に資するため、増殖能力を推定可能なタンパク質指標をプロテオーム解析により探索した結果、シャトネラの増殖速度の増加と比例して発現量が増加する過酸化水素消去酵素2-cystein peroxidoredoxin(2-Cys Prx)が検出された。本酵素は光合成過程で発生する有害な過酸化水素の消去に関与し、本酵素発現量の低下が増殖に悪影響を及ぼしていることが予想されたため、本酵素の発現量が増殖能力評価指標として有効であると考えられたた。また、光合成の光化学系IIの最大量子収率（Fv/Fm比）も、シャトネラ細胞の増殖能力評価に有効であることが明らかとなった。
