研究開始時の研究の概要 |
I plan to extend the trial-and-error model to elucidate the following aspects of innovation: 1. how firms interact strategically to achieve innovation, 2. how technologies evolve in the market, and 3. how a social planner can implement policies to improve innovation efficiency and social learning.

1. "Signaling under Double-Crossing Preferences: The Case of Discrete Types," with J. Ishida and W. Suen, is revised and resubmitted at Journal of Mathematical Economics. 2. "Social Learning and Strategic Pricing with Rating Systems," with K.-P. Chen and J. Ishida, is under revision at American Economic Journal: Microeconomics. 3. I have been working on projects "Experimenting to persuade" and "Overcoming Free-Riding in Collective Experimentation: A Dynamic Model of Feedback-Based Information Release." The basic analysis is done, but we still need to develop them into papers and work on more details.

理由
I have been working on projects "Experimenting to persuade" and "Overcoming Free-Riding in Collective Experimentation: A Dynamic Model of Feedback-Based Information Release." The basic analysis is done. I presented "Experimenting to persuade" at 29th DC Conference and NTU conference on economic theory, and presented "Overcoming Free-Riding in Collective Experimentation: A Dynamic Model of Feedback-Based Information Release" at Hong Kong Baptist University.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
My coauthors and I will work on more details for the two projects and develop them into papers. I will also look for ideas for new projects regarding dynamic pricing and information design.
