This proposal aims to tackle the greatest challenges of nanoplastics and organic nanoparticles pollutants in drinking water resources. We aim to provide a realistic, insight, picture of the abundance and dispersion of plastic pollutants in aquatic systems. For this purpose, a novel platform, named, a Chiral Plasmonic Optical Tweezers, which can gently trap and control natural chiral particles with nanometer-level precision. The proposed nano-tweezers system aims to provide to the global society deeper understandings of the potential exposures and risks of particle pollution to human health.
