研究成果の概要

心筋梗塞などの血栓性疾患の発症に血小板細胞は必須の役割を演じる。血流による血管壁損傷部位への血小板の運搬と接着、接着部位から局所的に開始される細胞内活性化シグナル伝達とエネルギー代謝の連成、活性化血小板から生理活性物質の局所放出とその物質拡散におよぼす血流の影響、活性化血小板膜上のおける凝固系の活性化など血栓イベント発症における血小板の生理機能をコンピューターシミュレーターを用いて構成論的に理解する。血小板細胞接着現象は膜糖蛋白GPIbとvon Willebrand因子の結合のみにより仲介される。両蛋白質と周囲の水分子を構成する全原子の運動から、両分子の接着構造、接着力を予測する。
