近年、移動体通信機器の高周波回路に多用されている表面弾性波（SAW）デバイスには、更なる小型化が求められている。また、多目的設計探査（MODE）とは、進化型多目的最適化（EMO）によって得られた非劣解集合から有用な情報を抽出する設計支援手法である。本研究では、新たに精度保証付きMODEを提案し、小型化に付随する様々な不確実性を考慮したSAWデバイスの構造設計に適用した。本研究の成果は以下の通り要約できる。1）SAWデバイスのシミュレータ、2）多数目的最適化問題にも有効なEMOアルゴリズム、3）予測区間に基づく不確実性の精度保証付き評価手法の開発。4）SAWデバイスの小型化に有用な知見の獲得。
