研究成果の概要

１．The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA)の頭頸部癌組織のデーターの解析をおこないSox2が頭頸部癌の多分化能誘導に重要な役割を果たしている事をみいだした。頭頸部癌培養細胞にSox2を強制発現させgenome-wideな解析を行う予備段階に入っている。
２．九州がんセンターでchemoradioselction戦略に基づいて治療を行った標本を使用して固形癌の癌細胞のマーカーとして有用視されているCC44v9の発現と臨床病理学的因・予後との相関解析をおこない。CD44v9の発現が患者の予後を不良とする因子である事を頭頸部癌では世界ではじめて明らかにした（PlosOne）
