研究概要

孤発性クロイツフェルト・ヤコブ病（sCJD）の分類でプリオン蛋白のコドン129のアミノ酸と異常プリオン蛋白のタイピングによってMV2という分類がなされている。このMV2のなかで、M分子が異常化した症例とV分子が異常化した症例を分類することに成功した。MV2症例の感染性がVV2プリオンと同じ症例では、V2プリオンによってM分子が異常化したMiプリオンが存在し、我々の作成した抗体でV2プリオンの異常化した症例を検出し、M2プリオンの異常化と鑑別可能であることを報告した。
