様々な移動特性を定常的に維持するモビリティモデルとして，(1) 移動制約に基づくモビリティモデルを提案した．このモビリティモデルの移動特性を変化させるとともに，それに伴うシステム性能の変化を把握することで，影響を及ぼす移動特性を特定する．また，網羅的にモビリティの影響を評価可能な (2) 行動センシングシステムシミュレータHumanS を構築した．実世界におけるモビリティを把握する取組として，(3) OD交通流の推定手法の検討に取り組んだ．渋滞時におけるプローブカーの移動軌跡を詳細に分析することで交通量を推定する手法であり，細かい時間粒度かつ広範囲に渡る交通状況を即座に把握することができる．
