| 研究開始時の研究の概要 |
This study will investigate the anatomy, structure, extensibility, chemical composition and branching at the monosaccharide level, as well as expansin proteins and relative gene expressions of root cell wall in the elongation zone and CEC of the whole root of crops. The resulting data will be subjected to analysis of variance and multiple correlation analysis. By these measurements and analyses, the characteristics that contribute to the salt tolerance of crops at the root cell wall level will be clarified and their role in the salinity tolerance mechanisms will be elucidated.
